A young man is fighting for his life after he was found with stab wounds at a home north of Adelaide.
- A woman fled the scene but was arrested in a nearby street
- The man is being treated in hospital for serious chest wounds
- Police say the pair are known to each other
A 22-year-old woman is expected to be charged with attempted murder over the incident.
Police were called to a house on Churchill Road, Kilburn, just before 1:00am on Saturday following reports of a domestic dispute.
They found the 22-year-old man with life-threatening chest injuries, and he was taken to the Royal Adelaide Hospital for treatment.
A woman ran from the home and jumped a rear fence, but she was found by police in a nearby street.
She was arrested and taken to hospital for treatment, and she is expected to be formally charged later on Saturday.
Police said the attack was not random, and both parties are known to each other.
