‘There is no doubt’ Australia will hit 10 per cent unemployment

Sky News Political Editor Andrew Clennell claims “there is no doubt” Australia is on its way to 10 per cent unemployment toward the again finish of the year when the JobKeeper system is phased out.

May’s unemployment knowledge – introduced on Thursday – unveiled much more than 227,000 positions were dropped.

The fee soared to 7.1 for each cent, the highest Australia as seen since November 2001.

“These (Thursday’s figures) are the labour power survey figures, they are a study,” Mr Clennell reported.

There are about 1.6 million Australians on the JobSeeker method, which is also regarded as the Newstart allowance.

There are currently 3.3 million folks on the government’s JobKeeper plan.
