Queensland votes as wild weather is forecast

Opposition Leader Deb Frecklington has cast an absentee ballot at Oonoonba State School in the electorate of Mundingburra – a trifecta of must-win seats in north Queensland.

There was a queue at the school so Ms Frecklington and her husband Jason were delayed about 10 minutes but that gave her the opportunity to speak with voters.

Mundingburra is on a knife-edge with a 1.1 per cent margin. Current Labor MP Coralee O’Rourke is retiring, opening the door for Labor’s Les Walker or the LNP’s Glenn Doyle.
