Married at First Sight mastermind Tara McWilliams proves a property player after flipping Rose Bay home in Sydney for $400,000 profit

It would seem being the mastermind behind some of Australia’s most shocking TV moments pays off.

Staging scandals built a million-dollar mansion for MAFS executive producer Tara McWilliams, and now she has revealed the price tag of her luxury Sydney home.

McWilliams just sold her Sydney pad for a cool $2.38m after purchasing the property in April of last year for $1.91 million.

It was a short but sweet stint in the luxury Rose Bay home, and while McWilliams offloaded her property amid an economic crisis, she still managed to turn a profit of more than $400,000.

And while the MAFS house might be full of drama and scandal as McWilliams pulls the puppet strings, her life away from the cameras is anything but.

The light and bright property paints a picture of relaxation, having initially been built in the 1930s before a second storey was added over the years.

The three bedroom, two bathroom abode features a paved courtyard, timber floors and a balcony for the master bedroom.

McWilliams is rumoured to earn in the region of $250,000 a year as a professional meddler, and is thought to be one of the most powerful people in the industry.

The TV producer can be thanked for MAFS’ incredible popularity after taking charge in 2016, and called the shots on changes to the show’s structure, like introducing dinner parties and shared living arrangements.

But it’s her most recent work that will hopefully earn McWilliams a tidy bonus, with the 2020 season easily the most dramatic yet.
