Truck crash spills 12,000L of milk on NSW road

A clean up was under way in NSW’s south this morning after a truck carrying 48,000 litres of milk crashed overnight.

Emergency services are mopping up the 12,000 litres that spilled from the B-double refrigerated milk tanker near Corowa on Friday night.

The truck was travelling on Freyers Road when it crashed around 10:15pm.

The driver – a 63-year-old-man – wasn’t injured in the crash, but a vehicle defect notice was issued for the truck and two trailers.
