A Richmond star is back for their cutthroat semi-final with two unlucky young guns dropped, while St Kilda has made three forced changes.
Meanwhile unless his leg is cut off, Geelong skipper Joel Selwood has been backed to face Collingwood.

Richmond has regained gun forward Tom Lynch for Friday night’s do-or-die final against St Kilda.
Lynch underwent scans on Tuesday, and not on his troublesome hamstring, but was still named to return for his first game since Round 17. Nathan Broad is also back.
As revealed by Foxfooty.com.au earlier this week, mature-aged recruit Jake Aarts has been dropped after playing his first final against Brisbane, while the Tigers have opted not to go too tall by omitting ruck/forward Mabior Chol.
St Kilda has made three forced changes with Ben Long (suspension), Jake Carlisle (family reasons) and Paddy Ryder (hamstring injury) all taken off Brett Ratten’s whiteboard.
In their stead come Josh Battle as well as two fringe players, Jonathon Marsh and Shane Savage.
Marsh has played five games this season while Savage played every game last year but has featured just once in 2020.
GEELONG v COLLINGWOOD TEAM WHISPERS
GEELONG superstar Patrick Dangerfield has declared Joel Selwood a certain starter for Saturday night’s semi-final against Collingwood.
The Cats captain dislocated his left middle finger last Friday night and had surgery the following day.
Selwood ran laps on Monday and won’t train fully on Wednesday evening, but the plan is for him to do some tackling and ball work on Friday.
Dangerfield, who is confident Geelong will bounce back at the Gabba, gave his midfield colleague a glowing endorsement on Wednesday morning.
“Unless his leg was cut off, I reckon he (Selwood) will be out there,” the 2020 All-Australian captain said.
“We haven’t trained yet, but unless you run him over in the car on the way back, I would very much expect the skipper to be leading the way on Saturday night.”
The news comes as a boost to Geelong, which won’t have Jack Steven as a selection option.
Steven sustained a hamstring injury on the weekend and the club has not ruled out a preliminary return should results go the right way.
COLLINGWOOD is weighing up whether to make any changes to a winning side.
The big questions surround whether to keep Darcy Cameron in the team, after he helped Brodie Grundy in the ruck against West Coast, and whether to name Tom Phillips for his return.
“Flip (Phillips) has been full training for about a week and a half and he hasn’t had any match simulation yet. He will get a taste of that this evening (Thursday),” Magpies coach Nathan Buckley said.
“He has played a lot of footy for us over the last two or three years, he has been a regular in our best 22 so that is a decision we are going to have to weigh up into this week and beyond.”
