Kim Kardashian’s ex-BFF Larsa Pippen defends dating married man Malik Beasley

Larsa Pippen has hit back after she was criticised for dating a married man.

Kim Kardashian’s former BFF has defended her relationship with NBA star Malik Beasley, insisting that he had separated from his wife Montana Yao when they started dating.

The jewellery entrepreneur, 46, who has split from her NBA husband Scottie Pippen, was furious when she was labelled a “homewrecker”.

And she said that anybody would have known she had done nothing wrong if they’d “spent a minute Googling their situation”.

The mum-of-four told Hollywood Unlocked: “We had spoken about it. It wasn’t a secret. I know a lot of people that are married and exiting. I’ve played that part. So for me, if you’re not being shady and you’re telling me all your stuff, I’m going to believe you.

“A lot of people are not happy in their situations and they don’t want to jump ship until they see someone they like.”

However, Larsa says she does regret the way her relationship with the Minnesota Timberwolves star became public knowledge.

They were pictured holding hands and Montana, who shares a one-year-old son with the athlete, quickly filed for divorce, claiming she was blindsided.

Larsa said: “I feel like I wished that wouldn’t have happened. What’s the point of that, taking a beating over a guy I just started talking to? It was stupid.”

“I just feel like I need to do a better job of not being public with my situation. I wasn’t trying to be public with this situation, but it just went and happened that way.”

Larsa said she doesn’t believe she’s the cause of Malik’s divorce, and that she Googled him when they first met and found out that he had separated from his wife.

She said they had “issues” that were nothing to do with her.

Larsa was famously best friends with Keeping Up With The Kardashians star Kim for more than 10 years before they had a mysterious falling out.

It happened around the time of Kanye’s ill-fated and controversial Presidential rally.

After being Kim’s closest confident for more a decade, it was said the star was worried about her secrets being spilled, especially after hearing Larsa was being offered her own show within days of the announcement that Keeping Up With The Kardashians would be ending.

A source told Closer magazine: “Kim heard Larsa was in talks for her own reality show just days after they decided to end theirs. Kim’s upset about it because if Larsa becomes a global superstar, there’s a huge possibility she could eclipse Kim, stealing her fans and her business empire.”

Kim and Larsa unfollowed each other on social media around the time of Kanye’s public meltdown and have remained distanced from each other ever since.

LeBron James and his wife, Savannah, were pushed over the edge over a report involving their son Bronny.

“With everything going on in the the world right now, THIS is the s — t y’all talking about …” Savannah wrote on Instagram. “At the end of the day y’all are talking about a minor. I don’t care what type of ‘celebrity’ y’all think he is, he’s a child and the bulls — t needs to stop. Y’all got the right one.”

LeBron added his own Instagram message after seeing his wife’s frustration: “Uh-oh y’all f — led with the wrong one now. Good luck. It won’t be cute!”

The story seemed to stem from Bronny liking a photo of Larsa’s on Instagram.

Larsa, 46, has been prominently featured in the news of late thanks to her relationship with Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley. The one-time Kardashian pal has been publicly feuding with Beasley’s wife, Montana Yao, who recently filed for divorce.

“I’ll sue the f*** out of you for writing some disgusting lies you weirdo,” Pippen wrote at BSO on Twitter. “Some of these stories are so disgusting the fact that my sons friends can’t like my pics without some ppl writing some weirdo s*** is crazy.”

Larsa Pippen hits out, ‘don’t judge me’, Malik Beasley photos, Montana Yao

Larsa Pippen has hit out again at those casting judgment over photos of her strolling hand-in-hand with married NBA player Malik Beasley.

The 46-year-old took to Instagram on the weekend to share her reaction to speculation surrounding the nature of her relationship with the Minnesota Timberwolves guard, 24, imploring fans not to judge her without knowing the full story.

“Don’t judge me until you know me. Don’t underestimate me unless you challenge me. And don’t talk about me until you’ve talked to me,” Pippen posted to her Instagram stories.

It comes after an earlier social media post during the week in which Pippen said: “Don’t always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar.”

Pippen, the ex-wife of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen, took a trip out of town after she was snapped holding hands with Beasley in Miami last month, surprising fans — and the NBA player’s wife, Instagram model Montana Yao.

“Wow … I don’t even know this man,” Yao shared via Instagram after the photos went viral. “This is wild, y’all. I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all.”

Beasley had apparently been planning his time with Pippen for weeks. He openly flirted with the reality star on her Instagram page before their outing, writing: “I just want to take you on a date and treat you like a queen.”

Yao has reportedly filed for divorce, with sources telling the New York Post her and Beasley’s relationship has been on the rocks for a while and the pair have been living separate lives.

In the wake of the scandal, Pippen’s 20-year-old son, Scotty Pippen Jr, spoke out on Twitter.

“Focused on myself and my goals. I’m not responsible for nobody’s actions. All good over here,” he wrote.

The college basketball player also liked multiple tweets with messages of support from fans feeling sorry for him being put in a difficult position by his mum’s love life as he aims to graduate to the NBA.

Pippen, who filed for divorce from Scottie in 2018, shares four kids with Michael Jordan’s former right-hand man.

Last month she said she had been seeing NBA star Tristan Thompson prior to his romance with Khloe Kardashian, which began in 2016.

Last year Pippen emphatically denied leaving a Los Angeles nightclub with Aussie NBA star Ben Simmons, while she has also been linked to rapper Future.

Larsa Pippen is cautioning fans about distinguishing fact from fiction on social media.

On Thursday, the 46-year-old ex-wife of Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen posted a cryptic message to her Instagram story, days after photos emerged of her holding hands with 24-year-old Minnesota Timberwolves guard Malik Beasley.

“Don’t always trust what you see on social media. Even salt looks like sugar,” Pippen wrote.

On Wednesday, images surfaced of Pippen and Beasley from an outing in Miami last month. Beasley’s wife, Instagram model Montana Yao, is said to have been “blindsided” by the snaps, according to TMZ.

Sources told The New York Post, however, that Beasley and Yao are almost divorced and have been living separate lives. Yao has been previously linked to NFL star Su’a Cravens, whom Beasley got into an altercation with last year.

Larsa, who filed for divorce from Michael Jordan’s former right-hand man Scottie in 2018, two years after he initially did so, was spotted on Thursday returning to her Miami home.

Yao, who shares a child with Beasley, also posted a series of messages to her Instagram story amid her husband’s controversial outing.

“I’ve always and will forever remain true to who I am and GOD has never let me down,” she wrote. “The truth always come out one way or another …”

In a separate message, Yao wrote: “Wow … I don’t even know this man … this is wild y’all I’m seeing it for the first time just like y’all.”

Larsa shares four kids with 55-year-old Scottie, including Scotty Jr.

Last month, Larsa said she had been seeing newly signed Boston Celtic Tristan Thompson prior to his romance with Khloe Kardashian, which began in 2016.

Last year Larsa emphatically denied leaving a Los Angeles nightclub with Aussie NBA star Ben Simmons, while she has also been linked to rapper Future.

Scotty Pippen Jr, Larsa Pippen dating Malik Beasley, photos, reaction

Larsa Pippen, the ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie, was back in the spotlight this week after images emerged of her holding hands with current player Malik Beasley.

Larsa last year emphatically denied leaving a Los Angeles nightclub with Australian basketball star Ben Simmons.

Pippen, 46, took to social media to defend herself after some sports gossip websites reported she was spotted leaving The Highlight Room at the Tao restaurant complex in Hollywood earlier this week.

There’ll be no denial over the latest relationship/hook up after she was pictured shopping with 24-year-old Minnesota Timberwolves player Beasley.

The images that whipped around social media caught Beasley’s wife, Instagram model Montana Yao by surprise.

Yao, who has a child with Beasley, was “blindsided” by the image, according to TMZ. She is also facing charges stemming from a late-October arrest alongside Beasley.

Pippen divorced Scottie in 2019, and claimed she dated recent Boston Celtics signee Tristan Thompson before Khloe Kardashian. The now ex-friend of the Kardashian clan was also linked to rapper Future.

Beasley signed a five-year, $60 million deal with the Timberwolves this off-season.

Larsa’s dating exploits have left her son, Scotty, fed up with fans feeling for the young basketball star.

The Vanderbilt guard went on a Twitter liking spree after posting on his account: “Focused on myself and my goals. I’m not responsible for nobody’s actions. All good over here.”

Scotty liked roughly 11 tweets with messages of support for the rising basketball star with fans feeling broken hearted for him.

Larsa used to be inseparable with reality TV’s first family, The Kardashians, but at some point this year they had a falling out and unfollowed each other on social media.

While many thought rumours of Larsa hooking up with Khloe Kardashian’s on-again-off-again boyfriend Tristan Thompson were to blame, Larsa claimed it was actually Kanye West who was responsible for the rift.

“I just feel like Kanye was in a place where he really didn’t trust anyone with Kim, so I feel like I was the person that was like, ‘Oh, don’t be so close to her because you’re so close to her’, that kinda had something to do with it,” Larsa explained on an episode of the Hollywood Raw podcast.

“I don’t want to be the trouble in your relationship. If your husband feels threatened by my relationship with you then I don’t want to be that person. I got my own s**t.”
