St Kilda defender Ben Long will front the AFL Tribunal tonight, trying to make himself available for Friday night’s semi-final against Richmond. Follow live from 6pm EDT!
Long will face the Tribunal for rough conduct for the second time this season, after receiving a three-week ban earlier in the year for a bump on Fremantle’s Sean Darcy.
This time Long is appealing a one-week suspension handed down for a bump on Western Bulldogs midfielder Jack Macrae.

Long charged into the second centre bounce of Saturday’s elimination final and collected Macrae, who had the ball, in the head with his shoulder.
The incident was graded as medium impact with careless conduct and high contact. WATCH THE INCIDENT BELOW
The impact grading is likely to be appealed by the Saints – if they can argue it down to low, Long would be fined instead of suspended.
“He’s very lucky Macrae got back up,” Seven commentator Jimmy Bartel said at the time.
“Impact is one of the boxes that needs to be ticked and the fact Macrae got back up and kept playing (should help).”

The Saints will already be without two players from the win over the Bulldogs when they face the Tigers.
Paddy Ryder will miss the rest of the season after injuring his hamstring while Jake Carlisle has left the Saints’ bubble to be with his heavily-pregnant partner.
