Had a clear out, Charles? Future King hosts video call in front of just single photo of him with the Queen, Prince William and Prince George… after previously sitting by sideboard heaving with snaps of Harry and the rest of family

Prince Charles has given a video message about the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee next year with just a single photo of his mother, eldest son and eldest grandchild behind him amid growing concerns about Prince Harry’s brutal criticism of his upbringing and his ‘pot-shots’ at the Royal Family from LA.

The Prince of Wales has been seen throughout the pandemic on video calls from his offices at Highgrove or Birkhall with an array of family photos behind him, including several of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their son Archie.

But the heir to the throne launched a campaign to plant millions of trees to celebrate his mother’s Platinum Jubilee next year, with just a single framed photo of himself with the Queen, Prince William and Prince George – the line of succession to the throne.

It came as Harry hinted he was ready to pour his heart out again about his mother Diana’s death and his  relationship with his father in an emotional trailer for a new mental health documentary for Apple, due for release on Friday. The Duke of Sussex also appeared to question his father’s parenting in a podcast last week.

Royal insiders have expressed their exasperation at Harry and say it is becoming impossible for the family to repair their fractured relationships because of his insistence at taking ‘pot-shots’ from across the Atlantic.

While another source told the Mirror: ‘There is concern given the Duke and Duchess’s recent claims as to just what they may have said to Winfrey. They have not held back in their allegations and there is nothing to suggest they won’t make further ones’. MailOnline has asked Clarence House to comment.

Harry’s criticism of his childhood is merely echoing details shared by a younger Prince Charles in a biography about his own unhappy upbringing, sources close to the Sussexes suggest.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, faced a backlash from Royal aides on Monday after they claimed he had shown a ‘woeful lack of compassion’ for his family by implying Prince Charles and the Queen had failed him as a child.

Speaking to Dax Shepard, host of the ‘Armchair Expert’ podcast, Prince Harry said that his father had treated him ‘the way he was treated’, with Harry asking himself ‘so how can I change that for my own kids?’.

The Duke then went on to add that he and Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, had made the move to the US to ‘break the cycle’ of ‘genetic pain’ he had experienced growing up.

Senior palace aides told The Mail on Sunday of a growing sense of ‘bewilderment and betrayal’, and even called for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex to give up their titles following Prince Harry’s latest ‘disgraceful’ assault on the Royal Family.

Royal courtiers also claimed the Prince had shown a ‘woeful lack of compassion’ and ‘thrown others under the bus’ during the latest podcast interview, The Telegraph reports.

But sources close to Prince Harry were quick to point out that Prince Charles had lived through his own tell-all moment in a 1994 when he authorised Jonathan Dimbleby to write The Prince of Wales: A Biography, following extensive personal interviews with the Prince, The Telegraph reports.

In the book Dimbleby wrote of Charles’ unhappy childhood with details the Prince laid bare. The book was largely interpreted as Charles’s account of the breakdown of his marriage to Princess Diana.

The comparison comes as a new trailer for the Duke of Sussex and Oprah Winfrey’s new Apple TV+ mental health series featured a video of the young prince alongside his father Prince Charles at his mother Princess Diana’s funeral 24 years ago.

The stand-out feature of the trailer comes as a 13-year-old Harry is shown watching Diana’s coffin passing him during her funeral in London in 1997.

Charles can be seen speaking to his heartbroken son as a female voiceover says over dramatic music: ‘Treating people with dignity is the first act’. Harry tells Oprah: ‘To make that decision to receive help is not a sign of weakness. In today’s world more than ever, it is a sign of strength.’

The trailer for ‘The Me You Can’t See’ – which is set to be released this Friday – features Meghan, Archie and a major hint that the Duke will again pour his heart out about the Royal Family and his relationship with Charles.

It includes tearful interviews with singer Lady Gaga, actress Glenn Close and US chat show queen Oprah herself as well as a feature on a Syrian refugee named Fawzi, described as a hero on the programme.

The two-minute promo, which was released on the Archewell website and YouTube, will likely be seen as another barbed attack on the Royal Family and spark fresh pain for Charles, coming so soon after Prince Harry said he quit as a frontline royal to ‘break the cycle’ of ‘genetic suffering’.

Prince Harry’s complaints about upbringing ‘no different to Charles talking about his’

The Duke of Sussex’s complaints about his upbringing are no different to his father’s criticism of his own parents in an authorised biography by Jonathan Dimbleby, sources close to Prince Harry have suggested.

In a podcast, the Duke, 36, implied he had been failed not only by the Prince of Wales but through association, by the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh too.

He said his father treated him “the way he was treated” as he revealed that he moved to the US to “break the cycle” of “genetic pain” for his own children.

The comments were reportedly met with bewilderment by the Royal family, who considered it a betrayal. Aides said he had shown a “woeful lack of compassion” and questioned why the Sussexes continued to use their royal titles when they appeared so disillusioned with the institution. But sources close to the Sussexes pointed out that Prince Charles had lifted the lid on his own unhappy childhood in Dimbleby’s 1994 book, The Prince of Wales: A Biography, with which he cooperated extensively.

It recently emerged that in his new Apple TV mental health series, the Duke would be talking about his mother’s death and the experience of having to walk behind her coffin at her funeral.

The five-part documentary, The Me You Can’t See, will be released on Friday.

A trailer released yesterday showed Prince Harry, then 12, in the procession for the funeral of Diana, Princess of Wales, in 1997. He is shown looking upset, with his hand shaking as he holds it to his mouth.

The series marks the latest in a string of media projects in which he has spoken at length about his experience growing up as a member of the Royal family and the traumatic aftermath of his mother’s death.

He was filmed in conversation with co-presenter Oprah Winfrey, the US television chat show host, saying: “To make that decision to receive help is not a sign of weakness. In today’s world more than ever, it is a sign of strength.”

Aussie man claims to have more ‘proof’ he is Prince Charles and Camilla’s son

The Aussie man who claims he is Prince Charles and Camilla’s secret son has revealed a staggering new connection to the royals.

Queenslander Simon Dorante-Day, has made headlines worldwide after claiming he is a royal love child.

He was born in the UK in April 1966 before being adopted by a family in Portsmouth, England, who had links to the Queen. The 55-year-old claims he was conceived in 1965 by a 17-year-old Charles and 18-year-old Camilla.

He released a new photo from 1990, which shows an uncanny resemblance to Prince Andrew, reported 7News.

“Prince Andrew is only six years older than me,” he told the media outlet.

“But there’s no denying the likeness, which makes sense given that I believe he is my uncle.

“A lot of people think this is actually a photo of a younger Prince Andrew when they first look at it.”

When Mr Dorante-Day’s shared the photo with his Facebook followers, many case were stunned by the “undeniable” resemblance.

“Wow you look like Andrew. I had to look three times,” one wrote.

“Wow, I thought this was Prince Andrew,” another said.

He has shared multiple pictures comparing himself and his family to royal members, including an image of his son Liam next to a photo of the Queen in her 20s.

RELATED: Meghan’s secret money problem

Mr Dorante-Day said he also remembered being teased for having big ears as a child but claims he must have had surgery when he was young to get them pinned back as photos show they are “definitely different” now.

The royal family has never responded to Mr Dorante-Day’s claims but he is so confident that he is preparing to take the couple to court in order to demand a DNA test in the coming months.

But he has said his belief that Charles and Camilla are his parents are not based on photos.

Here is a list of everything Mr Dorante-Day has offered as proof of his royal lineage.

The many comparison photos

Over the years Mr Dorante-Day and his followers have created multiple comparison photos they believe show remarkable similarities between his family and the royals.

On one photo showing him alongside Prince Philip, Mr Dorante-Day said his wife pointed out a similarity in their chins.

“I know a lot of you say you see Phillip in my features, and so do I, but this clearly shows it!” he wrote.

On a photo of his son Liam beside a young Prince Charles many people commented that they could definitely see similarities between the pair.

“Wow your son is the image of Charles,” one person wrote.

Others thought he was the “spitting image of a young Queen”.

His adoptive grandparents worked for the Queen

The 55-year-old claimed his adoptive grandparents, Winifred and Ernest, worked as a cook and gardener for the Queen and Prince Philip.

He said his during his childhood his grandmother repeatedly told him he was Prince Charles and Camilla’s son.

“She didn’t just hint at it, she told me outright,” Mr Dorante-Day previously said.

Mr Dorante-Day was adopted by a local couple named Karen and David Day when he was eight months old.

He previously claimed Camilla had kept him until that time but the adoption was arranged through his adoptive grandmother when he started to get too old.

The couple’s murky timeline and Camilla’s brief social scene absence

Mr Dorante-Day has spent years researching the royals and the timeline of Prince Charles and Camilla’s relationship, saying the dates for when they first met change depending on the source of the information.

He claims he was conceived by a in 1965 by a 17-year-old Charles and 18-year-old Camilla.

“One of the first things we did was get all the biographies that we could at the time and look this thing up and look at the times to see where Charles and Camilla were, who otherwise could be involved,” he told Sunrise this week.

“I did do my research, so the timelines are gaps, people need to come forward and come clean.”

He said he research led him to discover that in the months leading up to his birth Camilla disappeared from the UK social scene for at least nine months while Charles was sent to Australia.

Mr Dorante-Day also revealed he has recollections of being taken to houses around Portsmouth as a young boy where he would spend time with a woman he believes was Camilla. He said protection officers and his adoptive parents would wait outside during these visits.

His birth certificate is ‘complete rubbish’

Mr Dorante-Day told Sunrise his birth certificate is “complete rubbish” and said the documentation he has from his adoption is written in his adoptive mother’s handwriting.

He said there is “lots of bits of evidence” like this that he needs to prove through avenues like handwriting analysis.

“I have a lot of evidence and I’m slowly collecting more. The longer this thing runs the more they are going to get it on their face, not me,” he said.

He also claimed the hospital listed on his birth certificate didn’t deliver a single baby during the decade he was born.

He also believes the names the parents listed on his birth certificate were “fictitious”.

Prince Andrew Reportedly Goes Into Business With Private Banker Accused of Sexual Assault

The structure of the new company, called Lincelles, ostensibly does not require it to file financial accounts or disclose income. The Duke is reportedly in control of 75 percent of the assets, although the firm hasn’t yet received any funds or “paid any money out”, according to his spokesman.

The Duke of York has started a business with financier Harry Keogh, who previously quit the bank Coutts in March 2018, a while after being implicated in sexual harassment, The Times reported.

In 2015, Keogh was accused of touching a woman’s groin, and boasting about his sexual exploits, prompting the private bank’s chief executive to recommend that he resign in the wake of an internal probe, according to The Wall Street Journal.

Yet, no court case has ever been filed, nor an investigation done by a third party.

Keogh and Prince Andrew’s new joint venture, which The Times noted will serve as a vehicle for the Duke’s family investments, is named Lincelles, in tribute to the 18th century battle, where British forces led by the Duke of York took on the French.

The company was formed in June 2020, just months after Andrew’s explosive interview with the BBC over his alleged links to disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.

The entity has since been structured as an unlimited company, with the format implying that it is not required to file accounts and may not necessarily disclose its revenues.

The Duke is reportedly in control of 75 percent of the business through the sovereign Urramoor Trust set up by the Duke’s private office, while Keogh, believed to be his longtime private banker who attended his daughter Eugenie’s wedding in 2018, is his fellow controller. Another is Charles Douglas, a commercial lawyer – a pro in advising offshore funds and high net worth individuals, according to The Times report.

Lincelles and Its Parent Urramoor Trust

A spokesman for Prince Andrew said the Duke is no beneficiary, but a settlor of the aforementioned Urramoor Trust, which “has independent trustees”.

“The Duke is not an owner of either Lincelles or Urramoor Limited as a matter of fact and law. Lincelles Unlimited has never been operational, has not received any funds or paid any moneys out”, he was cited by the British edition as saying.

Back in 2019, though, The Daily Telegraph reported that the Duke had set up Urramoor Ltd, “under an assumed name to channel deals brokered in Buckingham Palace”, referring to the royal’s use of the pseudonym Andrew Inverness, pertaining to his formally granted title of Earl of Inverness after his marriage to Sarah Ferguson.

Embattled Prince

The Duke has been accused of bedding Virginia Giuffre when she was 17, among other girls, reportedly solicited for him by Epstein, who was found dead while awaiting trial on new sex trafficking charges, and his suspected associate Ghislaine Maxwell. Andrew has strenuously denied the claims, although admitting to the BBC that he indeed visited Epstein in New York, being unaware of his illicit activities.

In late 2019, Andrew released a public statement that he was keen to help American law enforcement with their investigation into allegations of lewd acts by Epstein, but FBI agents and federal prosecutors have since said no response came from the Duke’s lawyers to their inquiry.

Queen’s sweet birthday message to Prince Louis

After weeks of sadness following the death of Prince Philip, the royal family has something to celebrate – Prince Louis has turned three.

To mark the occasion, Prince William and Kate Middleton released a photo of their youngest son proudly riding his red balance bike in a navy jumper and light blue shorts.

The royal family’s instagram – which is the Queen’s official account – shared the new portrait of Prince Louis sporting a backpack and big grin before he left for his first day of preschool this week.

“Wishing Prince Louis a very happy third birthday today,” the royal family’s page wrote, complete with a bike emoji.

Clarence House shared the new photo in their stories with the message: “Wishing Prince Louis a very happy third birthday,” they captioned the photo along with a birthday cake emoji.

Last year to celebrate Prince Louis’s second birthday, his grandfather Prince Charles shared a never-been-seen photo of little Louis giving him a hug.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have yet to post any public birthday wishes to their nephew.

It comes as Prince Louis, who is fifth in line to the throne, started at London’s Willcocks Nursery School, the same school big sister Princess Charlotte attended.

The school is the perfect choice for Prince Louis given that siblings Prince George, 7, and Princess Charlotte, 5, both attend Thomas’s Battersea nearby.

Kate also previously shared photos of George and Charlotte on their first days of nursery school. Charlotte started Willcocks Nursery School in January 2018, while George headed to preschool at the Westacre Montessori School in Norfolk in January 2016. Louis’ later start date was likely affected by the latest lockdown in the U.K. amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The photo is just the latest in many personal shots taken by Kate. The $A350 bike Louis is pictured on, is designed to help kids with their balance, promptly sold out in England after the photo was published.

Sources told The Sun that Prince William and Kate had chosen the Tadpole+.

The company’s website claims it “is a great first bike to help your child to achieve the necessary balance to cycle”.

It adds: “Our balance bike range is well-equipped with adjustable child-size brakes to provide the best fit for your child.

“We understand active kids can sometimes get a little carried away so we offer the added benefit of a steering lock, which acts as a safety mechanism to prevent any serious falls and damage.”

Aussie stockman remembers working with Prince Philip at Royal stables

Like most of the world, Bill Oram is remembering the Queen’s late husband. But the Queensland stockman isn’t thinking about Royal visits or videos or newspaper articles.

He’s thinking about one of the toughest men he ever met — a boss with a fascination about Australia whom he admired greatly.

He’s remembering a dare, and a letter he sent to the Queen begging for a job in the Royal stables.

And he’s wondering still — 40 years on — how on earth it all came off.

It’s 1980 and 18-year-old Bill Oram is travelling from the tiny Queensland town of Baralaba — population roughly 300 — to Windsor Castle.

Months before, he’d sent a letter the Queen asking for a job at the stables telling her how he grew up riding horses with his grandfathers — both “excellent horsemen” — and about his fascination with the Royal Mews.

“A mate of mine made a bet that I wouldn’t be game to,” he said.

He never for a second thought it would come off. In fact, he’d “almost forgotten about it” when he received a response saying a job had come up at Prince Philip’s stables.

“And Prince Philip would be in Canberra if I wanted to make myself available for an interview,” Bill said.

“That was the most casual job interview I’ve ever had.

“At that point I thought this was pretty crazy.”

It got crazier again when, almost impossibly, a job offer on Royal letterhead arrived at his Baralaba home.

It told Bill that if he accepted he would join three “very nice men looking after the Duke of Edinburgh’s Driving Horses”.

Bill would go on to ride with the Prince at the European Driving championship in Zug, Switzerland, in 1981, where they placed 10th.

Prince Philip gave the plaque to Bill, which he holds as a memento of “a really formative part of my life”.

For almost two years, Bill told Prince Philip stories of growing up in rural Queensland as they drove together in rain, hail, sleet or shine past the chapel that would become Prince Philip’s final resting place.

“I learnt very early not to look outside and watch the sleet coming downing thinking we won’t be out today, who would drive in this because he would,” Bill said.

When he heard of Prince Philip’s passing, Bill said he remembered a man who had some “very strong personal traits”.

“I became very fond of him,” Bill said.

“He was physically very tough, he was very loyal, he was very interested in people.

“He loved Australia. He was very interested in what I had done growing up in Australia.

“He visited Roma in 2002 … I regretted not going.”

Now an agricultural science teacher at St Brendan’s College, Yeppoon, Bill uses the story to inspire young men.

“People often ask me how proud I am of it, but I’m really a lot more proud of being a teacher,” he said.

Prince fans mark 5 years since his death

Draped in shades of purple, fans of the late artist Prince have huddled in a line outside his Paisley Park estate in Minnesota, waiting to enter the museum to remember the musician’s life on the fifth anniversary of his death.

“We came to pay our respects to the best, greatest, most, amazing musician ever. You know, we’ve been fans forever. We’re family. We’ve made family from all over the world through this man … It was important for us to be here,” said Barbara Rodgers, who travelled to Minnesota from Florida with her husband Ali and her friend Sara.

Prince died April 21, 2016, of an accidental fentanyl overdose at the age of 57. His former home and studio in the Minneapolis suburb of Chanhassen is now a museum.

Fans who did not have a ticket to enter left personal written messages for the artist.

“I got to see him three times, and it wasn’t enough. I wish I got to see him three times more,” said Tamara Williams, who was visiting from Seattle.

“There’s a sense of sadness. But there’s a sense that I was part of this,” said Monty Williams, another fan. He described Prince as “just the true purest artist. And I don’t know if there will ever be another one. I miss him dearly.”

Prince Harry wrote his ‘very hurt’ father a ‘deeply personal letter’ ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral – ‘because he couldn’t reach him any other way’ in the wake of his explosive Oprah Winfrey interview

Prince Harry wrote his father a ‘deeply personal’ letter in which he promised to ‘respect the institution’ before he flew back to the UK for the Duke of Edinburgh’s funeral.

The Duke of Sussex, 36, penned the note to Prince Charles after their relationship ‘hit rock bottom’ in the wake of his explosive Oprah Winfrey interview with Meghan Markle last month.

His decision to reach out to his father also came after he accused Prince Charles of refusing to take his calls.

However the Prince of Wales still remains ‘very hurt’ by Harry and Meghan’s decision to take part in the controversial interview, which was aired while Prince Philip was in hospital, and the pair have not yet mended their fractured relationship.

In his letter, Prince Harry ‘outlined his reasons for leaving’ his position as a senior royal in order to emigrate to California and said he would ‘respect the institution’, sources told The Mirror.

The Duke of Sussex, who decided to reach out to his father as he prepared to reunite with his family for the first time after stepping back as a senior royal, was ‘forced to write letters’ after a ‘complete communication breakdown’ with Prince Charles, sources claim.

A royal source told The Mirror: ‘He wrote a deeply personal note to his dad to try and set things straight but tensions are still running high and things haven’t exactly ironed out the way he had hoped.

‘There had been a kind of unspoken agreement between everyone to park whatever has been on each person’s mind, and solely concentrate on supporting the Queen ahead of Prince Philip’s funeral.

‘The feeling inside the camp was that it wasn’t the time nor the place to go over things, especially at such an emotional time for everybody involved.’

During his interview with Winfrey last month, Prince Harry said he felt ‘very let down’ by his father Prince Charles, accusing him of refusing to take his calls and then ‘cutting him off’ financially when he and his wife emigrated.

Asked about his relationship with Prince Charles, Harry said they were now speaking again, adding: ‘There’s a lot to work through there, you know? I feel really let down, because he’s been through something similar.

‘He knows what pain feels like, and Archie’s his grandson. I will always love him, but there’s a lot of hurt that’s happened. And I will continue to make it one of my priorities to try and heal that relationship’.

When asked about if he remains close to Prince William he replied: ‘I love William to bits. He’s my brother. We’ve been through hell together. I mean, we have a shared experience. But we’re on different paths’.

Meghan also claimed that a relative of Prince Harry’s asked him ‘how dark’ their unborn child would be, with the Duchess claiming Archie being mixed-race was a ‘problem’ for the royals after Winfrey asked her if they were worried their son would be ‘too brown’.

The former Suits star said she would not name the person because it would be ‘too damaging’ for them but she confirmed that the duke was asked the question – ‘how dark his skin might be when he’s born’ – ‘by family’.

Earlier today a source revealed that Prince Charles ‘walked and talked’ with Prince Harry at Windsor Castle before taking part in a ‘family summit’ with both his sons after Prince Philip’s funeral.

It is not clear what was discussed at the meeting, but the source said they began the ‘long task’ of looking at condolence letters sent from around the world.’

The talks come as speculation whirls around when the Duke of Sussex will fly back to LA to be with pregnant wife Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry arrived in the UK on April 11, reportedly with his own US private security team.

According to the Telegraph, the Duke was met at Heathrow Airport by Met Police officers, who helped whisk him off to the royal residence of Frogmore Cottage – where he was placed into quarantine ahead of the funeral.
