President Trump’s legal team claims 40K double votes found in Nev.

In addition to other voting irregularities in Nevada, the Trump campaign said that tens-of-thousands of people voted twice.

On Thursday, Trump campaign attorney Jesse Binnall told a judge that over 40,000 people voted twice, while 20,000 voters did not have a mailing address and roughly 2,400 voters had an out of state address.

The Trump attorney also said a local news station found that 1,500 ballots were cast under dead people’s names.

Additionally, Binnall argued that voting machines in Clark County lacked proper security. This information emerged during the Trump legal team’s hearing in front of a state judge on voter fraud.

“The questions are how did this happen? Who is responsible?” Binnall asked. “And what do we do about it?”

While addressing the court, Binnall said early policy decisions made by state election officials ultimately set the state up for failure, even months before the election ever took place.

“It was not an unforeseeable problem,” Binnall added. “It’s a problem that people were making clear all along. That there was going to be issues if we didn’t take robust efforts in order to make sure that every voter was only voting once.”

Binnall specifically highlighted changes to general election procedures that took place before November. These changes removed restrictions on mail-in voter registration. He said that legislators’ decision to adopt AB4 “took us to a system of universal mail voting at pretty much the last minute.”

Back in August, Democrat Governor Steve Sisolak signed AB4 into law in response to the pandemic. He promised a fair and accessible election.

Due to the new policy, the number of mail-in ballots cast increased from 6,300 in 2016 to more than 690,000 in 2020. Come Election Day, the wave of mail-in ballots on top of record-high in-person turnout overwhelmed poll-workers.

“As a result, there was a system that was ripe for the picking when it came to fraud,” Binnall claimed. “And the fraud came.”

Binnall also mentioned that poll workers went on to restrict meaningful access to Republican poll watchers, which made them unable to monitor and ensure the accuracy of the counting process.

“Election officials planned and implemented an election system that would be highly susceptible to fraud,” Binnall said. “It would ignore the best practices developed over the years and skew meaningful observation.”

The President’s campaign has argued that the push for election integrity supersedes any political agenda. He stressed that upholding the integrity of American democracy is the primary goal of their legal battle.

“Transparency is not political, transparency is something that is necessary for us to have a democratic election,” Binnall emphasized. “So that we know it is the candidate chosen by the voters that is the one actually elected.”

Judge James Russell said he wants to review all of the evidence presented and will make his decision Friday.

Watch Sterling’s goal

Here is how City went ahead…

18 mins: Areola is busy – that’s no surprise. Fulham are trying to keep it tight, but they may have to take the game to City a little more to avoid anything other than a drubbing.

Chance for De Bruyne!

12 mins: Great reactions from Areola to tip a deflected De Bruyne cross wide at his near post.

11 mins: This could be a long day for Fulham. City are hungry for that second goal – and while the visitors have held strong so far, it will be a tiring game at this rate.

7 mins: This game is a mismatch, but Fulham are giving it a go. Ademola Lookman shows quick feet on the right of the City box, but his shot is blocked out for a corner.

The corner is headed to the byline, and De Bruyne waits until an opponent closes in before flicking it over him and then half-volleying to Sterling. Cool as you like.

GOAL! Man City 1-0 Fulham | Raheem Sterling, 4 mins

This time he buries it! Fulham didn’t learn their lesson as Kevin de Bruyne capitalises in midfield, breaking off a quick free-kick to feed Sterling on the right of the box – and this time, Sterling drags it across Areola for the opener.

Chance for Sterling!

2 mins: City should be ahead as Riyad Mahrez punces on a loose ball 30 yards out, drives towards goal and feeds Sterling on the left of the Fulham box – but the forward elects to try and finish with the outside of his right foot, and pokes it high enough for Areola to save.

A good stop, but not enough composure from Sterling there.

1 min: The first minute passes by as you’d have expected – Man City have not lost the ball.

We are underway at the Etihad.

Here they come

Well, nearly. The Fulham team are waiting for their hosts. We are a few minutes away from kick-off.

4 Steps to Hiring the Perfect Addition to Your Team – Jewish Business News

4 Steps to Hiring the Perfect Addition to Your Team

By Contributing Author

Studies show that 95% of employers admit to making hiring mistakes at least once per year.

Unfortunately, recruiting new employees is tricky. Finding the right candidate can take time, and multiple steps are required before you can extend a job offer. Many people grow tired of sifting through resumes and scheduling interviews, so they tend to hurry this process along—thus leaving room for mistakes.

If you’re willing to put in the effort, there are some ways to ensure you’re choosing the appropriate applicant for the job. Read on for four steps to hiring the perfect addition to your team!

#1 Recruit Wisely

When you’re looking for a candidate with specific qualifications, a public job listing may not be the best recruitment strategy.

Many employers opt for targeted recruitment when searching for new hires. This may mean advertising the position to a smaller audience, such as:

Bonus hiring resource: If you’re struggling to keep your hiring process organized, use a digital recruitment software to expedite each step.

#2 Request References

A list of references should be required along with a resume and cover letter. Many employers underestimate how much information can be extracted from contacting a candidate’s references.

Whether these references are previous employers, colleagues, or college professors, there are a few key questions you’ll want to ask anyone you’re able to get in touch with:

  • Verify the candidate’s previous employment
  • Ask about the candidate’s work style and professional demeanor
  • Question whether or not they would work with the candidate again
  • Delve into the candidate’s skills and qualifications

Bonus hiring resource: Make cross-checking references easier with an automated system. This will speed up the process of verifying references, especially when your applicant pool is on the larger side.

#3 Get a Background Check

Resumes and references can tell you a lot about a candidate, but not everything.

A thorough background check will reveal important information that employers should be wary of. This information includes:

  • Previous criminal charges
  • Credit score inquiries and debt collections
  • Problems with previous employers
  • Driving record
  • Identity verification

It’s in your company’s best interest not to hire anyone without knowing their full history. To keep your employees and assets safe, make sure to fully vet any potential hires prior to offering them the position.

Bonus hiring resource: For those who aren’t sure where to get a background check, these can be done quickly and easily online. No need to hire the private investigator.

#4 Assign a Small Follow-Up Project

With any job, it’s important to get a glimpse at your candidate’s quality of work. The best way to gauge an applicant’s skills and motivation is by requesting a small assignment following your first interview.

Depending on your field, this could be:

  • A piece of writing
  • Proficiency tests for software programs
  • Drafting a proposal
  • Creating a spreadsheet, slideshow, or other document

Bonus hiring resource: Use an online quiz creator for either a pre-screening or post-interview assignment. This takes some of the pressure off you during the hiring process and allows the candidate to prove relevant knowledge and skills.

Do Your Team a Favor

It’s important to choose candidates that mesh well with your team. In a dream world, employers would be able to give every applicant a trial run—unfortunately, there isn’t enough time and resources to do that.

Using these hiring tips can help you narrow down your selection with greater ease. Following the steps listed here—while also using your best judgment and professional intuition—will result in a more thorough and successful recruitment process!

Cricket 2020, news: Australian women’s cricket team, The Don Award, Sport Australia Hall of Fame, T20 World Cup winners

Australia’s world champion women’s T20 team has earned the country’s highest annual honour, The Don Award.

The prize, given out by the Sport Australia Hall of Fame, goes to the Australian sportsperson or team who, through their performances and examples, most inspired the nation.

The women’s team, who beat India in front of 86,174 fans at the MCG earlier this year to claim the World Cup on home soil, become the first cricketers to win it since Shane Warne and Glenn McGrath (2007). Mark Taylor was the inaugural winner in 1998.

Australia’s women’s T20 cricket team recognised for 2020 World Cup win with The Don gong at Sport Australia Hall of Fame awards

Australia’s women’s T20 World Cup winners have become just the second team to win The Don Award, after their memorable tournament victory at the MCG in March.

Their dominant win in the final was watched by 86,174 fans at the iconic venue — the largest crowd for a women’s sporting event in Australia and the record figure for a women’s cricket match globally.

The Don is presented annually at the Sport Australia Hall of Fame (SAHOF) awards to the athlete or team whose deeds most inspired the nation over the past 12 months — with the Socceroos in 2006 the only other side to be bestowed the honour.

Australia’s women cricketers have won successive T20 World Cups and five in total.

Meanwhile, former Wallabies captain John Eales was the 42nd member of the SAHOF to be elevated to legend status, 17 years after his induction.

He is the first rugby union player to receive the honour — joining the likes of Wally Lewis, Cathy Freeman and Rod Laver in the category.

Eales won two Rugby World Cups — in 1991, aged just 21, and as captain in 1999.

The awards, conducted virtually this year due to the coronavirus pandemic, also marked the induction of seven other Australian athletes to the SAHOF.

They were:

  • Olympic diving gold medallist Matthew Mitcham
  • Tour de France winner Cadel Evans
  • Woodchopping great David Foster
  • Basketball superstar Lauren Jackson
  • Two-time world netball championship winning captain Michelle den Dekker
  • Netball coaching legend Jill McIntosh
  • Sydney Olympics water polo gold medallist Bridgette Gusterson

England’s T20 international side sends messages to the team during game with coded ‘signals’ from the balcony

Former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan has spoken out against a decision by the team to send coded information using signals during a T20 international against South Africa.

But England skipper Eoin Morgan defended the move, saying he was happy it was within the spirit of the game.

The practice came under the spotlight in England’s final T20 international against South Africa earlier this week.

Team analyst Nathan Leamon was shown by TV cameras hanging signs with letters and numerals on the balcony so they could be seen from the field while Morgan’s team was fielding.

England swept the T20 international series with South Africa 3-0.

The third game in Cape Town saw England chase down a target of 192 with 14 balls to spare, thanks to an unbeaten 99 from Dawid Malan, after South Africa made 3-191 off their 20 overs.

Michael Vaughan says any team featuring Eoin Morgan (right) and Jos Buttler (left) does not need to worry about coded signals.(AFP: Rodger Bosch)

Speaking on BBC radio, Vaughan said he didn’t feel the England side — that reached number one in the world T20 team rankings with the win in Cape Town — needed to “show the opposition anything”.

“Eoin Morgan is the greatest white-ball captain we [England] have had by some distance, Jos Buttler’s probably the greatest white-ball cricketer we’ve ever had behind the stumps,” Vaughan said.

“I just don’t understand why you’d want to give the opposition any sort of information from the balcony.

Vaughan said if there was a need to send information to the captain to remind him who the best bowling match-ups for batsmen were, it could be handled by a message run out by the 12th man.

He said he “liked things done privately,” rather than exposed to others through signals.

The strategy was reportedly cleared in advance by the match referee, but Vaughan said he felt that the practice could be a problem with cricket’s anti-corruption approach.

“We’ve been hounded with anti-corruption and match-fixing problems within cricket for many, many years,” he said.

“I’ve no idea how the ICC can clear an analyst giving information to the team from the sideline.

“I know it’s been mentioned that you can pass a piece of paper [to the players] and that’s fine, because it’s private.

“A 12th man can run on a bit of information and that’s private, but by deliberately putting signals on a balcony [that’s different].

“I think the ICC have to look at this and go now, ‘Wait a minute, why would we allow some kind of signalling to go on from the balcony that could potentially — I’m just saying potentially — could be picked up by someone in that ground that could be used in some kind of corruption?'”

England will ‘definitely continue’ with signals, says Morgan

Morgan rejected suggestions there was anything wrong with the tactic.

“There is nothing untoward about it. It is about maximising information that we are taking in and measuring it against things, coaches’ recommendations … the data about what is going on.

“We are definitely going to continue with it and give it enough sample size to see if it makes a difference to, or improves, our decision-making on the field or improves our performance, or it might tell us more about how we understand information that we are taking in during games.”

Rugby news 2020, Australia vs Argentina, Wallabies v Pumas, captain, racist tweets, sacked, team news, team, latest

Argentina’s rugby union lifted the interim suspensions of skipper Pablo Matera and two other players for racist tweets Thursday, in a shock U-turn just two days after calling the posts “unacceptable”.

Coach Mario Ledesma hailed Matera as a “great human being” despite the tweets, which date back several years and were described as “discriminatory” and “xenophobic” by the rugby union.

The volte-face followed reports that Argentina’s players had threatened to strike over the suspensions of flanker Matera, second row Guido Petti and replacement hooker Santiago Socino.

All three players were left out of the team to play Australia in the final Tri Nations game in Sydney on Saturday. But Ledesma made clear they would be back.

Next for Biden: Naming a health care team as pandemic rages

Up soon for President-elect Joe Biden: naming his top health care officials as the coronavirus pandemic rages. It’s hard to imagine more consequential picks.

Already one prominent candidate to lead the Department of Health and Human Services has faded from the scene. New Mexico Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was offered another Cabinet post _ interior secretary _ and turned it down, a person close to the Biden transition said Wednesday. That person spoke on the condition of anonymity to discuss internal deliberations. Lujan Grisham’s office had no comment.

Biden is expected to announce his choice for HHS secretary next week. That person has to have “the confidence of the president, the ability to operate collaboratively across the government, credibility within the health care world, and the capacity to work with the states,” said former HHS Secretary Mike Leavitt, who served under Republican President George W. Bush.

Rhode Island Democratic Gov. Gina Raimondo has emerged as a focus of attention for the top health job. Although Raimondo has been aggressive in confronting the virus, her state is facing a dangerous surge and struggling to flatten the curve. Separately, Raimondo’s business-friendly orientation may raise objections from the left flank of the Democratic Party.

Also in the running is former Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, co-chair of Biden’s coronavirus task force. Murthy has a soft-spoken demeanor and a reputation for consensus building. He’s the author of a recent book addressing the human toll of loneliness, a problem that has become more widely recognized in the time of COVID-19.

Alongside his health secretary, Biden is expected to name a top-level White House adviser to coordinate the government’s extensive coronavirus response. Vaccines developed under the Trump administration will be delivered on Biden’s watch, a massive undertaking that’s bound to have its share of logistical problems. Democratic health policy experts say the leading candidate is businessman Jeff Zients, an economic adviser in the Obama White House who was widely credited with rescuing after its disastrous launch in 2013.

Keeping the focus on the virus, Biden is also said to be close to nominating a commissioner for the Food and Drug Administration and a director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Under consideration for FDA are former deputy commissioner Dr. Joshua Sharfstein, who has also served as Maryland’s health secretary, and Dr. Luciana Borio, a member of Biden’s coronavirus advisory board who formerly held senior posts with the FDA and the National Security Council and has expertise in responding to disease outbreaks and bioterrorism.

Being considered for CDC director is Dr. Julie Morita, a top executive of the nonprofit Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, which works across a broad range of health care issues. Morita spent nearly 20 years in leadership jobs with the Chicago public health department, rising from medical director to commissioner.

It’s unclear if Biden will move right away to name an administrator for the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, the HHS agency responsible for the government’s health insurance programs. CMS will play a central role in the new president’s efforts to expand health insurance coverage. A number of former Obama administration officials are under consideration.

Health care will be a defining issue of Biden’s presidency even after expected vaccines defuse the threat of COVID-19, former HHS Secretary Leavitt predicted. Addressing Medicare’s shaky finances will become an urgent priority before the end of the first term. The Congressional Budget Office projects that Medicare’s giant trust fund for inpatient care will unable to cover expected costs in 2024.

“If that is the case, they are going to have to deal with it legislatively in 2021 or 2022,” Leavitt said.

Meanwhile, millions still don’t have access to affordable insurance coverage. And racial and ethnic health disparities remain a festering source of preventable suffering. “The human services programs go through HHS,” said Leavitt.

Rugby news 2020, Australia vs Argentina, Wallabies v Pumas, Pablo Matera sacked, tweets, reverse decision, why, strike team news

Argentina have left out disgraced former captain Pablo Matera, as well as two of his teammates, from their side to face the Wallabies on Saturday, despite reports of threats of a strike from certain players in the squad.

The Pumas confirmed their team on Thursday afternoon amid reports from Argentina suggesting that the Argentine Rugby Union (UAR) had backed down on its original punishments for Matera, Guido Petti and Santiago Socino.

The trio were sacked after a series of “discriminatory and xenophobic” tweets from between 2011 and 2013 resurfaced this week, meaning they were not meant to face the Wallabies this weekend.

Australia cricket vs India 2020, third ODI, team changes, Pat Cummins, Brett Lee, injury, rested, latest news, result

Australian great Brett Lee has questioned the wisdom of rotating Pat Cummins out of the final one-day international and the upcoming Twenty20s against India.

Fox Cricket expert Lee was often frustrated through the final years of his international career by Australia’s rest and rotation policy with its fast bowlers and believes it risks doing more harm than good if the bowler is not carrying a genuine niggle.

“It probably wouldn’t have been his call, he probably would have wanted to play, the players generally want to play,” Lee told “I would have thought after a couple of games they shouldn’t be tired.
