COTA’s Liveable Communities Toolkit – Tasmanian Times

COTA Tasmania has recently launched its updated Liveable Communities Toolkit.

This Toolkit provides councils and communities with information, ideas and resources to support Tasmanians of all ages, backgrounds and circumstances to live safe, respected, and healthy lives in their communities.

The Toolkit launch included presentations from COTA Tasmania, the Local Government Association of Tasmania, West Coast Council, Clarence City Council, Huon Valley Council, and Central Coast Council.

The Liveable Communities Toolkit includes information about what a Liveable Community is, why they are important, ways to develop them, and resources for more information. Working with people in the community to discover strengths and challenges, and determine solutions to support our communities is a focus of the Toolkit.

The Liveable Communities Toolkit has been funded through the Tasmanian government’s Strong Liveable Communities: Tasmania’s Active Ageing Plan.
